WHY I’M RUNNING

Fairness, Accountability, Transparency

  • A golden balance scale with empty trays on each side, set against a blurred background with circular lights.

    FAIRNESS

Every person deserves to be treated with fairness and dignity in our courts. I will work diligently to ensure that every defendant, victim, and attorney is heard and treated with respect. Justice should not depend on wealth, background, or connections.

  • Word cloud image with the prominent words 'Accountability' and 'Trustworthiness' surrounded by related terms like responsibility, ethics, integrity, honesty, reliability, and governance in various shades of blue, green, and black.

    ACCOUNTABILITY

“BE HUMBLE. This bench does not belong to you. It belongs to the people.” - These are the words my friend, Judge Brandon Birmingham, taped to his bench on his very first day as a judge. I couldn’t agree more. Judges are elected by the people of their district to serve and are accountable to these people.

  • A hand holding a magnifying glass over labeled file folders in a filing cabinet, with the word 'TRANSPARENCY' highlighted.

    TRANSPARENCY

Transparency helps build and maintain public trust in the judicial system. When people can see that proceedings are fair, consistent, and unbiased, they’re more likely to respect court decisions - even when they disagree with the outcome.
